DORSET, Vt. — A Sunderland man's car was totaled Nov. 3 when it struck the back of an SUV that was stopped in traffic on Vermont Route 30 near West Road in Dorset, Vermont State Police said Wednesday. Neither driver was hurt, police said.

The crash happened at about 5 p.m., police said. According to troopers, John R. Noe, 73, of Sunderland, was driving a 2006 Volvo S60 and did not stop in time as he came up behind a 2026 Toyota RAV4 driven by Martha G. Kaiser, 29, of Poultney, which was stopped in traffic.
