Gronkowski stops by Turning Point Action's Election Day push in New Hampshire

The former Patriots tight end posed with the conservative group's volunteers at a Goffstown polling place and greeted voters in Bedford as the group worked to turn out Republicans in a state with a marquee Senate race.

GOFFSTOWN, N.H. — Former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski stopped by a Turning Point Action get-out-the-vote setup at a Goffstown polling station Tuesday morning, according to state Rep. Lisa Mazur, who runs the conservative group's New Hampshire turnout program.

Mazur wrote on X shortly after 10 a.m. that Gronkowski "showed up at one of the Goffstown polling stations to help get out the vote." Photos she posted show him posing with Mazur and volunteers, including one group shot beneath a tent bearing Turning Point Action branding.

"So blessed they hung out with us for a while," Mazur wrote, calling it "a day for memory books."

Mazur's post did not say whether Gronkowski came at the group's invitation or was supporting its campaign.

Gronkowski, a four-time Super Bowl champion, also greeted voters at the polls in Bedford on Tuesday morning and encouraged residents to get out and vote, Boston 25 News reported. That report did not mention Turning Point Action.

WWE executive Paul "Triple H" Levesque, a Nashua native, was with Gronkowski at the Goffstown stop, according to Mazur's post.

Mazur, a Republican, represents Hillsborough District 44, which covers Goffstown and Weare, in the New Hampshire House, according to the Legislature's website. Her X profile identifies her as Turning Point Action's "Chase the Vote" state director for New Hampshire and vice chair of the House Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs Committee.

What is Turning Point Action?

Turning Point Action is the political arm of Turning Point USA, the conservative youth organization co-founded by Charlie Kirk. Kirk launched Turning Point Action in 2019 as a 501(c)(4) group, a structure that, unlike Turning Point USA's nonprofit status, allows it to campaign for and against candidates. It is based in Phoenix.

Kirk was shot and killed in September 2025 while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University. His widow, Erika Kirk, now leads Turning Point USA, and Turning Point Action Chief Operating Officer Tyler Bowyer oversees the organization's voter turnout program, which he has described as the "pinnacle" of Kirk's legacy, The Associated Press reported in September.

That program, "Chase the Vote," began ahead of the 2024 presidential election. It sends paid organizers and volunteers into neighborhoods to find Republican-leaning voters who are unlikely to cast a ballot and make sure they do, a strategy the group adopted after Republicans' disappointing results in the 2022 midterms. Bowyer told the AP the group would be "even bigger this election than we were in 2024."

New Hampshire appears to have become a centerpiece of the group's midterm work, CNN reported, citing online posts from its activists. Job listings posted by Turning Point Action this year sought "ballot chasers" and team leads in Manchester, Keene, Derry and other communities across the state.

The group has also released a "Freedom Ticket" voter guide for New Hampshire, one of three states it covers along with Arizona and Nevada. The guide recommends Gov. Kelly Ayotte for governor, former U.S. Sen. John E. Sununu for U.S. Senate and Lily Tang Williams for the 2nd Congressional District, according to the California Globe.

The races on the ballot

Sununu faces Democratic U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas in the race to succeed retiring Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, one of the most closely watched Senate contests in the country. Ayotte, a Republican, is seeking a second two-year term against Democrat Cinde Warmington, a former executive councilor.

The final University of New Hampshire Granite State Poll, released Sunday, showed Pappas leading Sununu and Ayotte statistically tied with Warmington. In the 2nd District, the poll showed incumbent Democrat Maggie Goodlander with a comfortable lead over Williams.

All 400 New Hampshire House seats and 24 state Senate seats are also on the ballot. Democrats are targeting House districts in towns including Goffstown and Bedford as they try to break Republican control of both chambers, the New Hampshire Union Leader reported.

Polling hours vary by town in New Hampshire, but every polling place must stay open until at least 7 p.m. Voters who are not yet registered can register at their polling place on Election Day with the proper documents.
