Vermont State Police said the crash happened at the intersection of West Enosburg Road and Tyler Branch Road on Oct. 1. The other driver, an 83-year-old St. Albans man, was not hurt.

An 81-year-old Fairfield woman was taken to a hospital with minor injuries after a two-car crash in Enosburg on Oct. 1, according to Vermont State Police.

Troopers from the St. Albans barracks were called to West Enosburg Road near Tyler Branch Road at about 2:05 p.m., police said.

Harold Bigelow, 83, of St. Albans, was driving a 2019 Ford Escape west into the intersection, while Judy Bryce, 81, of Fairfield, was driving a 2020 Ford EcoSport south on West Enosburg Road, which is also Route 108, according to police. The crash happened in the southbound lane, police said.

Bryce was taken to Northwest Medical Center with minor injuries. Bigelow was not hurt, police said. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

The front end and passenger side of the Escape and the front end of the EcoSport were damaged, and both cars were towed from the scene, police said. The road was dry and the weather overcast at the time.

State police released details of the crash Friday. The release did not say what caused the crash or whether either driver was cited.
