A Boston man pleaded guilty Oct. 14 in federal court in Boston to trafficking firearms and dealing in guns without a license, the U.S. attorney's office in Massachusetts said Thursday.

Jairo Valdivieso, 24, pleaded guilty to one count of firearms trafficking and one count of engaging in the business of dealing in firearms without a license, prosecutors said. The case is before U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton.

According to prosecutors, Valdivieso sold guns to an undercover federal agent on three occasions between December 2025 and March. On Dec. 30, 2025, he sold a gun to an undercover agent in Boston through two associates, prosecutors said. On Feb. 6, again working through two associates, he sold a gun to an undercover agent in Roxbury, and on March 29 he sold another gun to an undercover agent in Boston, according to the U.S. attorney's office.
