Stamford OnlyFans creator pleads guilty to tax evasion

Seathra Zmeena Orr, 39, admitted she failed to pay taxes on more than $3 million earned from the subscription site over four years, prosecutors said. She faces up to five years in prison.

A Stamford woman who earned more than $3 million posting photos and videos on the subscription website OnlyFans pleaded guilty Tuesday to tax evasion, federal prosecutors said.

Seathra Zmeena Orr, 39, waived her right to be indicted and entered the plea before U.S. District Judge Omar A. Williams in Hartford, according to the U.S. attorney's office for Connecticut.

Prosecutors said Orr worked as a content creator, putting photographic and video content on the internet, including through OnlyFans, which pays creators for paid subscriptions. For the 2019 through 2022 tax years, OnlyFans reported paying her more than $3 million, but Orr paid no taxes on that income and filed no tax returns, prosecutors said.

To evade payment, Orr used multiple business names, obtained 12 employer identification numbers for those businesses and opened 11 business bank accounts and eight personal accounts, moving money among them without a legitimate business purpose, prosecutors said. She used cashier's checks and the business accounts to make at least $1.3 million in personal purchases, including her apartment rent, luxury vehicles and more than $110,000 in jewelry, according to court documents cited by the office.

Tax evasion carries a maximum of five years in prison.

The government calculates that Orr owes more than $1.1 million to the IRS, and she has agreed to pay at least $476,970 in restitution, prosecutors said. The final amount will be set by the judge.

Orr was released on a $100,000 bond. A sentencing date has not been set.
